Albany Firebirds helps Students learn valuable life skills at Lisha Kill Middle School!

This morning, the Albany Firebirds Professional Arena Football Team was honored to be invited to help students in Mrs. Norton's class at Lisha Kill Middle School in South Colonie learn valuable life skills through their innovative coffee shop on wheels initiative.

The players and coaches of the Albany Firebirds were delighted to contribute to the educational journey of the students, as they assisted in the operation of the mobile coffee shop, fostering a collaborative and hands-on learning environment. The team engaged with the students, sharing their enthusiasm for teamwork, dedication, and the importance of community involvement.

"We had an absolute blast working with the incredible students at Lisha Kill Middle School," said Damon Ware, Head Coach/General Manager for the Albany Firebirds. "It's inspiring to see young minds actively learning and applying important life skills. We can't wait to come back and support the students again!"

The Albany Firebirds express their gratitude to the South Colonie Central School District for extending the invitation and providing this meaningful opportunity to connect with the local community.
