Albany Firebirds Make Impact at Capital City Jr. Mallers Football Camp

This afternoon, the Albany Firebirds had a blast meeting and speaking to all the great kids at the Capital City Jr Mallers bootcamp in Albany! Making a mark beyond the arena as they spent time connecting with young football enthusiasts. Head Coach and General Manager Damon Ware, Defensive Coordinator Dwayne Hollis, and player Caleb Smith were on hand to share their experiences and inspire the next generation.


The Firebirds spoke with camp participants, offering advice and insights into the world of football. Coach Ware highlighted the importance of community involvement and being an all around good person, stating, "We're here not just for the game but to instill values like discipline and teamwork."



Defensive Coordinator Dwayne Hollis emphasized the role of mentorship in sports, saying, "It was great interacting with the kids at the Capital City Jr. Mallers Football Camp. We hope to encourage them to work hard and dream big."
